Traci Braxton steps in for sister Tamar and says there’s no feud only sisterhood. Traci guest hosted for Tamar on the daytime talker The Real. Traci set the record straight that just like any siblings, they have their fights, but in the end they have each others’ back…. always. The rumors of fighting hit an all time high after Tamar’s health issues forced her to drop out of Dancing With The Stars and cancel her upcoming tour with Singer Kem. Reportedly, Tamar’s sisters offered to replace her on the show and she said no. That fueled the latest feuding rumors. Meanwhile, Tamar is home resting and recuperating and plans to be back to performing and co-hosting The Real very soon.

Sherri Shepherd……You Are Still The Mother! The actress and comedienne lost her court appeal to prevent her name from being added to the birth certificate of 1-year old Lamar Sally, Jr. the surrogate-birthed child she originally agreed to have with now ex-husband Lamar Sally. The child biologically is not Shepherd’s because a donor egg was used. The boy is biologically Sally’s son. The dispute came when Shepherd filed to have her name removed on grounds of fraud. She claimed she agreed to having that child within the marriage, and that the divorce should more or less have cancelled that agreement. Upon hearing about his court victory, Sally says he’s glad the courts saw through all the lies and the negative press. He also says if Shepherd won’t be there for Lamar, Jr. emotionally, he’ll take on both parenting roles. This ruling means that Shepherd does have to continue her financial obligations in the form of child support: $4,100 a month which increases to $4,600 when Lamar, Jr. turns 13.

It’s The Gap Band Family Feud! Older Brother Ronnie Wilson is suing his younger Brother Charlie Wilson. Ronnie claims that he continues touring with The Gap Band despite the fact that lead Singer Charlie left in 2009 and brother Robert died in 2010. Ronnie claims that Charlie has been going to venues The Gap Band is booked in and interfering to the point that the venues drop The Gap Band’s booking. Ronnie is suing for damages and to get “Uncle Charlie” to cease interference. Ronnie claims The Gap Band already existed before Charlie joined anyway. At press time, there’s been no comment from “Uncle Charlie” yet. The group’s greatest success came with Charlie on lead for the hits You Dropped A Bomb On Me, Burn Rubber On Me (Why You Wanna Hurt Me), Outstanding, Early In The Morning and Party Train, just to name a few.

Tyra Banks has left the building! The Creator and Producer of the daytime talker The Fab Life has decided to leave the show. The former supermodel co-hosted the show with fellow Supermodel Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee and Leah Ashley. Banks officially says she leaving to focus on her makeup line, but her co-host Teigen, a.k.a. Mrs. John Legend, had to take to social media and squash rumors of a feud. Teigen says the way it works with bosses is that if she and Tyra didn’t get along she (Teigen) would be the one off the show.

It’s a Very Lyon Christmas! Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are hosting the FOX holiday special Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays. The TV special will feature performances from Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Jamie Foxx and soon to be announced special guests. Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays will air Wednesday, December 9th at 9pm on FOX.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Star Kim Fields is having trouble with the I.R.S. The former Facts Of Life and Living Single actress joined the newest season of RHOA. Fields and her former husband Lawrence Freeman lost their Georgia home back in 2009 to foreclosure, and now the I.R.S. says Fields didn't pay taxes in 2011, 2012 or 2013. Uncle Sam wants $212,000.

Chris Rock's third daughter......not so fast!! Reports say that the third supposedly adopted child for the Rocks hasn't seen Chris in a year because he never signed any legal documents to adopt. This all came up as the comedian and his soon to be ex, Malaak Compton-Rock, gear up for divorce court. Did Malaak do this so called adoption on her own? Apparently, The Rocks know the parents of the South African born girl. This girl has been with the Rock family since she was a year old. Now officials are investigating from both U.S. and South Africa agencies. All this came to light after the Rocks couldn't settle the issues of alimony, child support, visitations and other issues of divorce on their own. Career-wise, Rock is set to host The 88th Annual Academy Awards airing February 28th on ABC.

Idris Elba, he’s the coverguy for this month’s Men’s Health magazine. His photo shoot shows the British actor going from formal to workout modes.

Ebony Magazine is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Actor Jessie Williams, Actress Zendaya and Harry Belafonte share the cover together. This December/January issue unveils The Power 100 list and those activists, be they celebrities, board room executives or grassroots community organizers, that are pushing loudly for change. This begins a 70th anniversary celebration for the magazine, which includes a star-studded Black Pride-themed gala hosted by Arsenio Hall in Hollywood.

One of 2016's Academy Awards show producers is also producing 2016's NAACP Image Awards. Former BET Entertainment President Reginald Hudlin is best known for directing Kid N’ Play’s House Party and Eddie Murphy’s Boomerang and producing Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. Hudlin is co-producing this year’s Oscar telecast as well as producing the NAACP Image Awards, scheduled to air live on TV One Friday, February 5th.

People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive is …...Soccer Star David Beckham. People is celebrating the 30th anniversary of sexiest man with a look back at the many men who’ve graced the cover since Mel Gibson back in 1985. Also listed for this year’s sexiest were Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Legend, Michael Strahan and Idris Elba.

Actor Michael B. Jordan is the coverguy for Vibe and Men’s Fitness magazines. Jordon talks to both magazines about getting into shape physically and mentally for his role in Creed, which is the latest installment in the Rocky franchise with Sylvester Stallone, Phylicia Rashad and Tessa Thompson. Jordan is playing Apollo Creed’s son “Adonis.” Carl Weathers played Boxer “Apollo Creed” in four of the Rocky movies until the character was killed off in Rocky IV. In the new movie Creed, Jordan enlists the help of Sylvester Stallone (“Rocky Balboa”) as he launches his boxing career in his father’s name. The movie is in theaters now, and there’s talk of Oscar buzz and a new movie franchise out of the Creed character.

Actress Uzo Aduba, a.k.a “Crazy Eyes” from Orange Is The New Black, is on the cover of Uptown magazine. Aduba is the first and only actress to win Emmys for both comedy and drama for the same role. The actress talks about her upcoming film American Pastoral and her role in NBC’s The Wiz.

Creed leading lady Actress Tessa Thompson is also making the rounds in the media. She has an excellent Vanity Fair photo shoot. Thompson, who took the screen by storm in the independent hit film Dear White People, is doing a classic Hollywood look for her layout.

GQ’s Man Of The Year coverguy is….. President Barack Obama. As the POTUS begins his last full year in office, he discusses everything from his daughters’ waning interest in their old man to his full support if his wife becomes a highly paid media mogul after he leaves office.  

Essence Magazine features Bond-girl and Cover-lady Naomie Harris. The magazine also pays tribute to previous African American actresses who took their turns as Bond girls including Halle Berry, Gloria Hendry, Trina Parks and Grace Jones. Naomie Harris will co-star as “Eve Moneypenny” with Daniel Craig in the latest James Bond entry, Spectre, in theaters this week.

Tracy Morgan as……Redd Foxx?!!!! It may happen. Morgan is currently touring the country now that he’s recovered enough from a devastating limo and Wal-Mart truck crash. Hollywood executives are looking at the ex-Saturday Night Live co-star to bring the life of legendary “blue” stand up Comedian Redd Foxx to the big screen. Foxx was best known for his role in the highly rated NBC-Norman Lear sitcom Sanford and Son (1972-1977) and his brief comeback in the CBS-Eddie Murphy 90’s sitcom The Royal Family. Foxx suffered a fatal heart attack on the set of that show in 1991. Foxx also suffered many money, career and personal woes after rising to the very top, losing it all and then gearing up a comeback. Can Morgan pull of such a deep portrayal?

Barbershop III: The Next cut will be in theaters this April. Ice Cube, Anthony Anderson, Eve and Cedric The Entertainer welcome Common, Regina Hall, JB Smoove and Nicki Minaj to the cast. Barbershop III: The Next Cut is directed by Malcolm D. Lee (The Best Man).

Marlon Wayans’ spoof 50 Shades Of Black hits theaters for the new year. Wayans co-stars with Kali Hawk and Mike Epps. The film is a comedic takeoff of the sexually-charged box office hit 50 Shades of Grey. Wayans co-produces and co-wrote the script. 50 Shades Of Black hits theaters January 29th.

Denzel Washington gets the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Jamie Foxx's daughter, Corinne Foxx, will be Miss Golden Globe. Washington is being honored with the DeMille award for career achievement. Meanwhile, Miss Golden Globe is on stage for the entire ceremony and brings out the awards for each winner. Many starlets have taken a turn as Miss Golden Globe including Linda Evans, Melanie Griffith, Laura Dern, Ann Archer and Rumer Willis. The nominations will come out December 10th.The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards hosted by Actor/Comedian Ricky Gervais will air January 10th on NBC.

Spike Lee’s latest movie Chi-Raq opens in theatres for a limited release December 4th. Nick Cannon, Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes, Jennifer Hudson and Angela Bassett are featured in the controversial film that takes a raw, hard look at the violence in Chicago. After its limited release, the movie will be released to Amazon Instant Video. Lee was also just honored with an honorary Oscar. Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and Wesley Snipes did the presentation. Lee used the moment to take the Academy and the industry to task. In his acceptance speech, Lee said it was easier to elect an African American president of The United States than the head of a studio. Forever Spike, Do The Right Thing!

After Sunday’s American Music Awards, tongues were wagging about a certain afterparty reunion. These two saw HOST to a number of displays of public affection with each other. Only one problem, they’re both involved in current relationships. Theirs crashed and burned after a very public incident. When the going got tough, their relationship got going. But is there a rekindling going on? Hmmmm!
