Interest:
My interests are cooking,
dancing, working out,
writing, spending time
with my girls and their
friends and attending
concerts with excellent

Music:
I like old music. I've
always said that I am the
oldest young person that I
know. I love the big band
sound sung by my girl
Natalie Cole. I like several
performers from my mother's
generation. I also love
Kenny &; Chanté when they
sing their beautiful
ballads. I'm a huge fan of
Destiny Child, Kanyé West
and Heather Headley.
Movies:
I like old movies too. I
love Imitation Of Life, the
original one, The Bad Seed
and anything with Susan
Hayward in it. Forrest Gump
is one of my all time
favorites and "That's all I
got to say about that".
Television:
I don't watch a lot of TV.
Can you imagine that,
an actress that does not
watch TV? Anyway,
with children TV is not
always a good option. I like
Jeopardy, Wheel Of Fortune
and I am a huge LOST fan!
Heroes:
My heroes and sheroes are:
My mother, of course. I love
her for the woman she is and
the woman she has helped me
to become. My husband
because he is so smart and
loving, he pushes me to be
better everyday. My
daughters because they are
so bright, brave, smarter
than I was at their age, and
powerful in their own right.
My sister because she is
incredibly smart and loving
and all the strong, smart
black women I have the
privilege of calling my
close sister friends.
Upcoming Event:
Yes! The
play that took LA by storm
last year,
THE DIVORCE, is back!
I will recreate my starring
role as Eva Owens and I do
hope you can come out and
support us on
Saturday, July 12th
at the
Wilshire Ebell.

Save the date
for Playboy's annual celebration of jazz and blues with
a spectacular array of musical talents. This year marks
the 30th Anniversary of the event that continues to
bring the biggest names in jazz to the Hollywood Bowl in
Los Angeles. Since 1959 and his first Playboy Jazz
Festival in Chicago, Playboy magazine Editor-in-Chief
Hugh M. Hefner has brought outstanding performers such
as jazz genius Ray Charles, George Benson, Chris Botti,
Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald and singer Etta James to
the stage. This year's 30th Anniversary concert in Los
Angeles will be no different. Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau,
Guitars & Saxes and James Moody are a few of the many
artists to look forward to as well as legendary Jazz
Festival emcee Bill Cosby.

Tamika is a single parent of a 16
year old son, Dadrian who had decided after numerous
attempts to actually focus on achieving her goal of
completing her college education. Not only did she first
achieve her Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration in June 2006, she continued on to pursue
her Master of Business Administration in which she
recently graduated on May 2008. She has struggled
the past six years raising her son, working full time
while studying all hours of the night. She was inspired
by her family ( Aaron and Linda Goodson), a host of very
close friends and colleagues.
She prays that her achievements
will be recognized by her son and encourage him “to
reach for the stars.”
